I travel a lot, in fact I am never in the same country for more than a few days at a time.

Laptops and notebooks are a pain to take through security now in most airports so I have been trying to find good email solutions to go!

Pop3 email is ok, but I still want to share my calendar with work colleagues.

Also one major problem with normal email when travelling is IF I were to lose my laptop then all my emails are stored on it for all to see.

I have now found the solution! 

I was investigating Microsoft Hosted Exchange, then I found out that virtually everywhere was charging the earth for a very small mailbox size.

With Hosted Exchange when you open outlook all your email is pulled down from the Exchange Server and when you close outlook it is all sent back to it.  So, it is very portable, secure as nothing is stored locally if my machine got stolen or lost. But you do need to allow for a reasonable mailbox size.

Now I am tight.  I don't like spending money and when I do I shop around for the best bargains.

As I previously mentioned, most places were only offering 512mb or 1gb mailboxes for around $9.99.

After much searching on I stumbled across a promo code site and found a company called OKEnterprise who were offering a 6GB mailbox at less than the price of any that I have found for a 2gb price.

I have been running the service for a few months and they just emailed me a 1 month free trail code, which I think is very handy for other CYTravel visitors.

Now, I run an XDA Orbit II Windows Mobile 6 mobile/cell phone and link into my exchange server.
